mgregg85 February 8, 2008, 08:32 PM I hope so, might just bring the price down from $50. armoredman February 8, 2008, 08:35 PM No. not according to the guy I spoke to at Ruger last week, no factory mags for the general unwashed, unless you want to buy the NRA Mini-14. mgregg85 February 8, 2008, 08:36 PM So now the 20 round mags are available from ruger, just at $1035 a piece. I like ruger products but their business sense is just horrible. If they would start selling factory mags at $25 to 30 a piece they could make a killing. enkindler February 8, 2008, 08:38 PM maybe it is only for the NRA model http://ruger.com/Firearms/FAProdView?model=5835&return=Y Remember to keep it on the high road...Ruger is under new management they have stated that they were going to make some changes. rbernie February 8, 2008, 08:43 PM Ruger doesn't advertise 20rd mags for sale, but there are lots of places that sell them to anyone. Sadly, they cost $49-$59/ea. <shrug> This is one case where ProMags are actually a reasonable alternative, especially when updated with Riuger followers. Sure beats trying to figure out how to deal with the Ruger mentality. armoredman February 8, 2008, 09:10 PM I called ProMag, unconditional lifetime guarentee. I think I will try one soon. IronSightRot671 February 8, 2008, 09:13 PM http://www.44mag.com/prodinfo.asp?number=RGMAG20 They have price listed @ 49.99 a pop. http://www.jgsales.com/product_info.php/products_id/1060 http://www.davescatalog.com/pages/e/Ruger-Ruger-Factory-Mini-14-Mag-223-20rnd-.html gunman42782 February 8, 2008, 10:40 PM According to gunblast.com guru Jeff Quinn, they are going to make them available. Gary G23 February 8, 2008, 11:01 PM "I called ProMag, unconditional lifetime guarentee. I think I will try one soon." That sounds like the warranty USA brand magazines had. DPris February 8, 2008, 11:05 PM Email from Ruger today, they are not selling the mags separately till the production run is done on the NRA model. Unknown after that. Denis
