Earlier in this thread (http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=31958) , I mentioned that I sent my PT-22 in to Taurus for repair under their lifetime warranty.

I sent the gun out on July 21, and it came back yesterday on August 1.
Taurus fixed it at no charge (replaced broken firing pin) and threw in a free cable lock.

I would rather have had a free magazine, but oh well. :D

I'm pleased with their customer service and would definitely consider purchasing another Taurus.

How does she shoot after the repairs? That was a pretty quick turn-around even w/ shipping factored in. Thanks for keeping us posted!

Good deal. I've heard more good reports on Taurus' service than bad.

I haven't had a chance to go shoot it because of the weather, but it does detonate the primer mix in a couple of .22 cases (I pried out the bullets and dumped the powder) that I tested it with.

It shot fine before the firing pin broke.
