This is what I know about it..

.22 revolver (not .22LR)
It's silver or nickel or whatever, not black or black metal
It has an owl on the handle, don't know if that matters
It holds 7 rounds
Double action
It says "Model 1800" on it

Probably an Iver Johnson model 1800. I googled for a photo, but only found a passing reference to one in 32 caliber.

The Owl's Head grip was a trademark of Iver Johnson. I have no reference to a Model 1800. They made a Model 1900 from that year until WW II. With 4 1/2 inch barrel, it cost $8.00 in 1939. Fifty cents less for 2 1/2 inch, fifty cents more for 6 inch. No extra charge for nickel plating.

Their nicer guns, like the Safety Automatic Revolver and the Sealed Eight ran from $14.75 to $18.00. A Smith & Wesson .22 cost $35.00 at the time.

I think it is a 1900 now that I think about it. It was either 1800 or 1900 but now that I googled 1900 it is definitely that one.

Thanks for the help.

Here's the one reference to a model 1800 that I found:

Might just be a typo.
