I have an 870 with an 18 inch barrel. I am interested in what barrel and choke selection I would need to go clay shooting. Any advice out there?

For skeet use cylinder to improved cylinder.

For trap use modified to full

For sporting clays use anything from improved cylinder to improved modified depending on the presentation.

I'd suggest a 28" barrel for your 870. That's a good all round length for all the games.
