I was wondering if anyone who was in LE during the time, or knows of, the when the following bullets went into widespread use in Police Revolvers:

1. Round Nose Lead (pretty much from the start of the revolver to ?)
2. Lead Semi-Wadcutter or Lead Semi-Wadcutter Hollow Point
3. Jacketed Hollow Points (if they even made it into Police Revolvers...)

My Dept used 158 gr RN till about 1975.158 gr SWC tas then carried till about
1978 or so.1978 125 Gr HP was carried till aprox 1990 or so .We then went to 9mm Glock and then to 40 cal Glock.Ret Mass. Cop
