Question for the wife

So we recently purchased new handguns. I went revolver (GP100) and she chose the Bersa 380. After 2 trips to the range, she's not 100% about the Bersa. I like it so it's staying. But I want her comfortable with her choice so she carries it. Here's where everyone comes in...
What suggestions would you all have in 9mm (no sense getting another .380) that has a single stack mag and small. She loves the feel of her Bersa, she just isn't completely in love with the thing.
Thanks all!!!

Yep, bought a Sig P232 380 for the little lady and basically had the same results.
Single stack mag was hard for her to load, and harder to insert, as with the Sig, it has the bottom Euro thumb mag release, and ya have to pull them out and angle them in at first, before they go straight, up, and in.
It has a lot of snap using the blow-back system to cycle, and honestly, it gets dirty quick with powder residue, so..
I got her the new Springfield 3" SAO 1911 EMP 9mm 9 + 1 and she loves it.
Side mag release button, and they pop out cleanly as well as pop straight up and in..
Mags are a joy (easy) to load all 9 rounds, which beat the Sig 380's 7 only rounds per mag.
The return spring is much softer than the 380 and she has no problem cycling the slide.
Comes with Novak night sights, and the grip is thin, and she likes that as well.
Expensive, about 1K, but worth it in terms of both dependability, reliability and accuracy.. Great point and aim shooter, very very accurate.
Very balanced and recoil is more controllable than the 380 for her.. Plus she really likes the same feel each pull, of the lighter, SAO, trigger pulls, over the long, hard, first DA pull getting into SA mode with the Sig 380.
Her gun has 900 rounds without any failures of any kind.

My wife loves my Kahr MK40 Covert. She'll shoot a lot of my stuff, but generally hands the .45s right back after one or two rounds. I mostly buy .45s...
Let her try a KelTec P32 and then buy .45s...
Hope my wife doesn't find this thread...

I'm currently looking at probably buying a Kahr P9 for ccw. It seems to be almost a perfect size.

Like Lonestar said, try the EMP. My Wife LOVES mine, and for comparison, she hates my Colt Defender which is the same size 1911 in .45.

Try the Kahr PM9....small grip, light, recoil not as bad as the Walther style stuff.

I recently got a Bersa Tunder .380 it is kinda snappy and definitely difficult for her. I got two p225 and refinished one for her and she absolutely LOVES it. Its a bit big for her (5' 105lbs), but she does well. She LOVES my cheapie 1911 rock island compact. It recoils decently and does require quite alot of skill, but I think she'll do well with it.
Good luck

My suggestion is to take her to a range that rents guns and has a wide selection of small semis and revolvers, turn her loose, and let her pick.
Do you want her picking your gun?

A couple of suggestions:
New production: Kahr K, P or CW9
Used: S&W 3913 and similar models - but you can't have my LadySmith. :p

In this case I think familiarity does not breed contempt but appreciation. Let her handle it for a while.

My wife has handled my big guns (;)) and even used one of my 1911's for her CCP class. But, she hates them.
During her class she shot a few rounds with a SA XD 9mm. She now owns one. She's happy with it, comfortable with it, and proficient with it. That's all that matters.
