Just a heads up for anyone wanting one of these. Page 48 of the newest CDNN catalog: 18" barrel, wacky orange speedfeed stock (for working security at the circus, no doubt), "very good to excellent". The ad makes it clear that the guns are marked "Wingmaster, not the Express". Price is $190. Sounds like a square deal, though I wish they still had the walnut furniture.

I ordered one yesterday and will report on its condition when I pick it up from my dealer this weekend.

I'm looking at a Mossberg 500A police trade-in for about that price. I'd say you got a good deal.

The theory behind the orange stocks was that they would be the "less lethal" guns in a police armory. You could load bean bags, etc. into orange guns but you were never to put buckshot or slugs into them. It was just a visual reminder that the gun had a different purpose.

I talked to CDNN this morning and they still had a few left, if anyone's interested. The deal was good enough that I considered buying two.
