I have a winchester 94 I looked up the serial number and it's from 1951 I was just wondering how I would find out it's relative value. It's my only centerfire rifle and I don't know if I would be better off buying a newer one(I don't want to beat it up if it's worth something) It's bluing is pretty much all there and it has a peep sight/

Do a completed auction search on gunbroker, that will give you a decent idea of current selling prices.

Yea, it is gunbroker.com you can also search gunsamerica.com but the first is preferred. I've seen the blue book in some libraries, but have had the most success in the local borders.

Yes gunbroker.com, it's just going to depend on the condition, having the peep sight will help, just doing a quick glance on gb looks like anywhere from $450-$600
