Shouls I buy a houge grip or try the gun without it?
Should I get a lazer or a light for the rail?
If I buy a light what is a good one for a great price?

You probably want to shoot it a few times before deciding, but I think I actually decided against a P95 due to my not being terribly fond of the grip. YMMV. Of course, you still need to post pics when it comes in :D

I have herd the houge sleeve makes it feel like a whole different gun.
I like the fact on the ruger sa/da if you have a misfire just pull the trigger again.Da only you have to rack the slide.I don't know if my wife or me under a streesfull situation could rack the slide and reload if a intruder broke in the house.
MY other choice was an XD but it is Da only and I like having that hammer

Very cool, didn't know it came with a second strike capability. I was looking hard at one for a bit (cdnn has them for 249 NIB for blued) but when it came down to actually holding one (and comparing it to the other candidates, an M&P 9 and a Ruger P345) it just didn't seem to click with me. It seemed a bit heavy, in spite of the fact that I think the P345 weights more, and the grip was very slick. Either way, I hope it works for you, let us know how it goes.

How big are your hands?
The p95 has rather large grips for a polymer pistol, so adding a hogue would make it larger. Try it out stock first. You can always accessorize later.
I hope you enjoy your p95!

I don't think my P95 has large grips -- about the same as my G22.
I'd try it without the Hogue first.
The P95 is a superb pistol.

It's a great pistol. I agree that you should shoot it first before deciding on any grip additions/changes. I'm a fairly large guy and find mine very satisfactory with the factory grips. Enjoy the pistol!

Try a bicycle inner tube.

If you decide to install the Hogue Hand-All (the sleeve's trade name, I think) make sure you follow the instructions and use a hair-dryer. I just yanked mine onto my P345 and -- while I like the improved feel and size of the grip -- it has never felt "fixed". It will slide around under finger position changes.

I have the Houge grip on both of my P95d's. The factory grip
is to slick for me.
