I could use some 230gr 45's or I'd be willing to let them go cheap they are just sitting on my bench.

Protip: Lee Factory Crimp die will help in many cases.

What do you plan to shoot these out of?

I've used both Barrys & Rainier w/o a cannelure when loading 44 Specials & Russians. Just check your 0AL before putting a light roll crimp on them. Never had any problems with the bullets backing out the case or the accuracy of the ammo.

I have shot a lot of Raniers in the .44 with just a Taper crimp.
