Do you prefer automatic ejectors on a shotgun?

Why would I want anything else on an Over/Under?
I can catch the hulls when I want to, but sometimes I want them gone, like when hunting or shooting flurries or something (fun!).

I like ejectors. Just catch the shells as they pop out.

Owning both, a resounding yes, as long as they are automatic and only eject the spent shell.

Ejectors. As noted it's not hard to hold on to the shells when you break the gun. I am so used to doing that just ejecting the hulls to the ground is almost a guilty pleasure. That's what happens when you are a life long reloader.
Another advantage to ejectors is for the pest you occasionally encounter while shooting sports clays. Certain guys like to snuggle up right behind you in the cage to watch the targets. I could feel the breath on my neck from one guy and I asked him nicely not to get in the cage with me. He didn't listen and got the hulls drilled into his chest as a warning. When he still didn't learn I adjusted upwards and he got them in the face (he was wearing eye protection.) He never got behind me again.

No
I hate chasing them all over. Even before I reloaded, I want to throw them away in the can there rather than bending over and picking them up. And now that i reload, I can pick them up and gently place them into my empty hull bag.

I've got one of each, not a big deal either way.

Our over under ejects them out and pretty far. Its very fun but you could really make a case for either.

I would prefer ejectors, but one of the reasons to own a double is that you don't have to hunt for your hulls after shooting, can just dig 'em out and stick 'em in the game pocket of your shell belt. But, yeah, I'd rather have 'em if they're an option, for sure. Not many cheap side by sides come with 'em, but seems like all the O/Us do. Weird.
Sometimes you're given the choice of ejectors OR double triggers. Me, I'd rather have double triggers and extractors than ejectors and single selective trigger. Just me, I guess.
