Tonight I reached in the safe and....... pulled out/selected the ole custom cz-52 pistole. He hasn't been out in a while.

I usually have something by my side during the evening hours while I fool around in the garage. So tonight the cz gets fondled.

It's the 1953 yr model barely older than me. The finish is a faded grey-parkerized. The grips are glossy black factory clones, the bbl is aftermarket blued. It has the Harington hardened firing pin and enhanced trigger system. Speaking of the trigger, it is smoooooth and light. It reminds me of a smith trigger with only a little creep.

Anyway, by grabbing something different out of the safe its a good way to #1 inspect it #2 clean & lube 'em. #3 to admire and look at 'em.

Is this a sickness? Does anyone else do these kinda things or is it just me?

What you got tonite?

Here it is with its lil brother

I pretty much do a little work on a .45 every night. I have the rest of my guns on a three-month rotating cleaning schedule where I clean 12 each week.

Tonight I replaced the mag springs on my Para P12-45 and ordered a couple small parts for it that were beginning to show some wear. Right now I'm wondering what the heck I did with my CZ82. Put it somewhere safe that I wouldn't forget about it... Now, where the heck did I put...

Last night my CBOB was sitting next to me while I tried to figure out what size allen wrench to adjust the rear Novak sight. It is a 1/16" in case you were wondering.

Right now my 9mm SS Springfield Loaded is sitting next to me and my old JC Higgins .22 is all apart getting cleaned.
