Taking back the media

He who controls the media controls the world. Right now we know exactly where most of the media stands with our rights. That doesn't mean we shouldn't give feedback about it. Ultimately they are still owned by their ratings.

That said, I went here: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/15111438/page/2/ and gave a little feedback of my own. I recommend you do the same.

Edit: You'll scroll down to the middle of the page, maybe lower middle. Simply put, my response was that I don't feel safe sending my kids to school, and that I would feel safer if lawful concealed carry were allowed to teachers and principals.

Well, no, but those who define the terms generally win the arguments.

To keep inline with the activism requirement, I've urged others to write in. This was my response:

We have sheltered our citizens from firearms for decades now and this is the result. Instead of teaching children how to use them and the importance of gun safety, we choose to vilify firearms and keep our children away form them.

Kids are more likely to do drugs when their parents dont educate them. They are also more likely to have unprotected sex when no one tutors them about sexual education. Why is it so hard to understand that, in a culture that seeks to abolish 2nd Amendment rights and defame gun owners, our children will never embody the respect for firearms that is so badly needed.

Our laws, culture, and media are directly responsible for this lack of respect. Even more egregious, is that we deny the victims the ability to defend themselves.

Our fear and unfamiliarity with firearms has created a society that does not respect their potential or the value of life. Our weakness as a country is to blame.

How many of us are writing the media about their biased reporting, and they're utter lack of reporting any presidential canditates that are actually pro 2A?
