My Honey wants to learn to shoot, so we went to the gun show and found her a 22. She picked them all up and the Walther felt best to her. $320 with laser.

bps, that's the way my wife is starting out also. I bought her a Ruger MKIII today for $220 OTD.

She's looking at a Ruger SR9 or a SA XD for later.

bps3040,
congrats to you and your wife, i suggest against using lead rds in the walther, i have seen some severe cases of led fouing in that particualr
model.

Congrats on the new partner and weapon. I just got a HK P 30 for my bride of 24 years. She asked for a new pistol for Christmas and we spent 4 hours at a local range trying most every semi auto they had. It's a great feeling to have and share with someone you care so much about. Enjoy.
