I just posted a thread about cheap shells guess im not going to find those anywhere so, I was thinking about maybe reloading shells. Is this easy to do and is it alot lot cheaper or do only save a few bucks per 100 rounds. Also how cheap can i get a reloader for?

it's ridiculously easy.
A box of reloaded shells costs approximately what a box of promotional shells cost (estates, etc)
But it's of much higher quality and loaded how you like to shoot.

we load 1oz loads, going about 7000psi. They break clays just fine, but not your shoulder. Cant' do that in a promo load.
Plus the 2nd time you reload the same hull (and they go for a while), the math gets better.

a good progressive reloader costs about $400/$500 bucks.

Those are single stage reloaders
They work just fine
but they take a lot of time
If you hunt, those work fine
If you shoot a lot of clay games, you'll just get overwhelmed with the volume.

ON a Progressive I can easily make up 400 shells an hour.
A single stage is probably going to take 1 a minute or so.

My MEC 600 and the complete setup were bought for $80 used.

It takes 25 seconds or so to do one round.

I also have a progressive. When everything's right a round comes out every 6 seconds or so.

I use the slow 600. After not having to disassemble 7 or 8 rounds because I ran out of powder, ot get one stray pellet out of the resizer, the little 600 is faster. YMMV....

I do shoot a lot of clay games and i have my own thrower and go to the river with that most weekends, but i dont think i want to spend 400 bucks on a reloader thinkin about buying a new gun
