I'm interested in all of your expert advise here. Soon I plan on buying my first 1911 style pistol.I have heard really good things about the Dan Wesson and also as well with the Springfield. Both have adj sights ss finish and match grade barrels,even the cost is pretty close,DW a bit more.I believe the point man is a newer gun so I don't know about the durability.Anyone have experience with either and maybe sway me in the right direction.It's not for competition I just want a really reliable target gun and home defence.I always apreciate everyones opinion and knowledge,thanx for your help.
