Concealed Carry S&W Model 60

Hello,
I have a S&W Model 60 (2 1/8" barrel) and I'd like to begin carrying it regularly. It has a hammer, by the way.
I have carried it "in pocket" before and that worked reasonably well, but I have also heard that IWB works well for this (at about 1 o'clock for a right-hand draw). I'm not a big guy, so I need it to be very low profile (I wear jeans or khakis 99% of the time).
Looking for suggestions on location to carry but also holsters for that method.
So far I've found..........

For IWB, I've found this:

Pocket carrying a revolver with a conventional hammer spur is asking for the gun to get hung up and snagged during a draw. IWB is fine, but be sure the holster covers the hammer spur or the checkering will abrade the covering garment.

I (now) regret the seemingly-well thought out decision to choose hammer over hammerless (at the time, I wanted my wife to have the option of single action).
Point about snagging well taken. On that point alone, it would seem IWB is the better choice, but the problem with that is I frequently need to wear clothes which don't allow me to leave a shirt untucked (or us a vest/jacket/etc).
I have practiced drawing from my pocket and if I place my thumb on the hammer, it "cloaks" it sufficiently. In an emergency, would I be able to calmly do that..........that's the question.

If, or when, pocket carry is an important issue, you can "bob" a conventional hammer - which is to say the hammer spur can be cut off, and the single-action mode removed. It is unlikely that in a defensive situation the hammer would be thumb-cocked anyway, and cocking the hammer could bring up an accusation that the shooting was unintentional. If one hesitates to modify their present hammer I believe that one that is already bobbed could be obtained from www.e-gunparts.com.

For a good, reasonably priced IWB holster, try:

For deeper concealment, try:

I have and recommend both products

Don't worry about the hammer. If pocket carrying just place the thumb over the hammer and withdraw from pocket normally and move the thumb to it's proper position as it comes out of the pocket. The 60 is a superb CCW so don't second guess yourself. I used an old M36 for years with that technique and never had a hangup. If you carry IWB then you have no negative concern. Just practice repeatedly (SLOWLY) until it becomes natural. :)
