Well folks, I am headed downrange tomorrow morning for the next year. More if they decide to extend us like they did the guys we are relieving (two years now).

Sorry I have not been around much the last few months, the work up for this has been a LOT of work. Maybe when I get down range I can have more time to get online and chat.

On the upside, I get to test all of my gear, and myself in ways that I never would have here at home. I will update my page when I can with news and pics of all the guns I have collected in the EP (being the Battalion Armorer has some SERIOUSLY cool fringe benefits!!!)

My Dad wrote and directed that WWII film: he served in the Battle of the Bulge. He fought Fascism...not much different that the current enemy. A character from ANOTHER film of his, "Battleground," said, "That's fer sure...that's fer DANG sure!"

The technology has changed since WWII, but I don't think that human nature has much. Give 'em hell!:fire:
