At least someone is noticing -- not the government, though.

I helped babysit the two principals in this crime for 18 months. Don't get me started on what I think happened.

Though, I think John Doe #2 came from and went back to Germany.

I think there is more to the OKC bombing than what was told to us. I for one think there was a Middle Eastern connection in the whole deal. There is just to many unanswered questions about this that the goverment has not come out and told us about.

The Clinton administration wanted to keep a cap on the events and let McVeigh and Nichols take the fall for it instead of getting himself into an anti terrorism campaign that he knew would not be popular. We knew from the 1993 bombing at the World Trade Center that we were now vulnerable to attacks by transnational terrorists. The Clintoninistas did not want the US citizens to know the truth about the new threat we were now facing.

From my opinion, all the funding, plans, and training came from the Middle East. I am not sure what group if not groups had the most to do with this. It could have been part of the Al Qaeda network, HAMAS, Islamic Jihad, or a combination of them.

I believe that the Middle Eastern half of this did seek assistance from white supremacists in our own country. The Middle Eastern terrorists knew they could get support for this operation from the white supremacists because of their anti goverment views and the hard feelings about the incident at Waco. The enemy of my enemy, he is my friend.

Perhaps someday in the future the truth about the OKC bombing will come out.

I think if this boondoggle interests one they should study explosives theory and the blast pictures and then ask themselves if there was only a bomb in the truck. Hell, I'm not convinced there was a bomb in the truck at all, if there was one it was the red herring bomb.

The timeline of the rise in coverage of "militia groups" dovetails a little to neatly with the timing of Clinton's public concern over the problem and the bombing. Whole thing smells.

It is my personal opinion, based on what I heard and saw from the news and people involved, that it was a "sting" that went bad. Why it went bad and exactly who was responsible for allowing it to go as far as it did, who knows?

There was the report that the Denver FBI office received a report from a citizen that a govt building was going to be targeted in the SW. This report was the Sept before the bombing. It was dismissed because the citizen was deemed mentally unreliable. It also only made the news once and then disappeared from the radar screen.

Andre Strassmeir (sp) who was a former West German Army LT was reported by a Texan to have been an agent for our BATF working in Texas. This seemed to be on a "free lance" type basis. This Texan claims that because of AS his son went to prison. AS was a firearms and tactics trainer at the compound in NE Oklahoma where TM had been several times and to which he made several phone calls. This is where the sting started.

Do we all remember the outlook of the Govt towards gunowners and "militia" types after the election of Clinton? Do we remember Waco? I spent a bunch of time watching the FBI spokesman telling untruths and have not forgotten. Yes, Bob Ricks, I still remember.

If you were going to infiltrate a supremist/militia group who better than a honest to God German. Funny thing is that very soon after OKC he went back to Germany and was not required to return to the USA for questioning. Also one of our TV stations went over to inquire about him and were not allowed to interview him; but, they took his picture and superimposed it over the John Doe drawing and it was an almost indentical match. Go figure.

As to TM he was terrified when I first saw him and was for a while until he realized we were not going to harm him. TN attitude was one of " I don't belong here and why am I here."

I got along with TM very well. I found him polite, quiet, and intelligent. He also had a normal sense of humor. If it weren't for OKC you would want him for a neighbor.

Anyway, that's a few thoughts as there is no way I could relay everything and I have let alot slip from my mind as I know that we will never know the real story.

Pardon me while I slip back into my tinfoil suit.

Like others, I am not a tin foil hat conspiracy theorist, but the whole case of the OKC Bombing does have a lot of lose ends and unanswered questions. The Feds, both prosecutors and investigators did not want to focus on a lot of evidence such as John Doe #2 and the Middle Eastern Connection. I still think this was because of Bill Clinton and Janet Reno's orders.

Like Navy Joe mentioned, the explosive theory on the OKC Bombing is quite questionable. I can remember the BATF Spokesman changing the size of the bomb several different times through out press interviews. Each time some explosives expert contradicted the blast effectiveness of the bomb used, the BATF would come out and say they believe the truck bomb was bigger than what they previously thought.

As for John Doe #2, I am not really sure he is Jose Padilla, but I could be wrong. Andreas Strassmeir that KP95DAO mentioned, does resemble the sketch of John Doe #2.

I am sticking with the theory that the Clinton Administration focused the investigation and prosecution of McVeigh and Nichols to keep the Middle Eastern connection from being exposed. Like I said above, Clinton new how dirty and controversial a world wide counter terror campaign would be. Focusing his agenda towards making America a safer place by boasting his Clinton Crime Bill and fighting the newly labeled Domestic Terrorists, would be better for his administration than fighting Transnational Terrorists on foreign soil. We have evidence of that from how he handled the US Embassy bombings, and the bombing of the USS Cole.
