JSAC is holding a shooting competition on Fort Bragg, NC from 27 April - 2 May 08. The competition is open to the public, not just military or DoD civilians, its open to LE, civilians, novice, anyone who is interested in shooting. If you register by 1 Apr it will only cost $25 anytime after that will be $35. We will hold 12 matches (6 rifles, 6 pistols), 4 of which will be EIC. I was interested until I read this:
Civilian: National Match EIC Pistol and Rifle, Long Range Rifle and side matches only.

What does that mean exactly????? Also, I have never heard of EIC.
Maybe the whole thing is a recruitment op?

EIC = Excellence In Competition.
Stand and shoots. Kinda boring. Nothing fun like a 3-gun match.
However if you are chasing a Distingiushed badge, you can earn leg points at EIC matches.
