It was just one of those lucky days. I was given (free) a Zephyr Woodlander 12ga 28" double in 99+ condition. It was in a closet next to a chimney for about 40 years. When we unzipped the case the zipper fell off, but the shotgun was almost mint. Any idea of what it's worth? Imported by Stoeger.

Made in Spain by Victor Sarasqueta. Not top quality but far from junk.

Best guess, near new, $500 up.

Dave,
Thanks so much for your response... I was hoping for a number like that. You're right, it's not top of the line, but it's a very nice piece. Got the original box of 12ga ammo that had 10 shells missing.

Save the ammo box. There may be some collector value.

As for the shotgun, go shoot it.
