I thought I would post my Top 5 "I Want NExt list"
of Handguns as well as why.
1. CZ 75 Compact 9MM
Good value, design, DA/SA Cond 1 option
& and 9MM will be economical for the range,
Compact for CCW
2. Springfield Armory Mil-Spec
I can just leave the .400 CorBOn Bbl. in my
SW1911 most of the time. Can't have enough
1911s.
3. S&W 325 Night Guard
Nother for CCW - I think I detect a .45 ACP
& .45 Auto RIm habit ...
4. S&W 25-n pinned Bbl.
Hey, this is to replace the one I sold
no I don't want no steenking 12 step program
5. K Frame centerfire - again pinned pre-1980
lots of options ALways liked the Model 13
with 3" Bbl. and round butt, however a 19 BLued
would also fit right in the gun safe.
At least that's it today...

I am finding it hard to find a new gun that interests me. Does that make me a bad person?

Handguns only?
1. Ruger Mark II .22, because I need a good .22 pistol for inexpensive practice/plinking, I've always been a fan of the Mark II series, and I despise the lawyered up features of the Mark III's.
2. Ruger SP101 .357, because I had one, foolishly sold it, regret doing that, and now I want another one.
3. Ruger GP100 .357, I don't currently have a medium frame .357 revolver, and everybody should have one, so I need it to fill that hole in my collection. Plus Rugers are built like tanks. (I see a Ruger trend here)
4. Glock 21SF .45 w/Glock rail and standard mag release. I finally got to shoot one and I liked it better than any of the other currently available hi-cap .45's, so of course I have to have one.
5. Colt Gold Cup .45. One of these has been on my wish list for a long time, but I have never been able to afford one. I just keep wishing, and hoping that maybe I'll find a good deal on one someday.

Yeah, Handguns only that was in the title...
M1 Garand - although it isn't in my .sig, I have
a S&W 617 6" Bbl. 10 shooter. fun for DA pracdtice
and FUn did I mention that? Yeah, shot friend's GP100
nice revolver, I see why it has a following ALso shot
the same guy's Glock 19 Didn't like it.
great remind me of Gold Cups... always on my list
as well, just seems to never get to the top of the list.

1. px4 subcompact 9mm when it finally comes out
- better for concealed carry
2. 1911
- always wanted one
thats all for now

1. XD-45
Just like the feel of it.
2. pre 1970 - 1911
Just want one
3. ????- Think I have all the others I wanted.

1) Sig P6 - love the feel, and at $260 I can barely resist, to be a edc hopefully
2) H&K P7M8 - While this is second on the list, it'll be one of the last ones I get due to cost. I fired one, and was hooked. Just hard to toss down $1200+ on a pistol at the moment. Would rather get a nice AR, but not by much. :)
3) Glock G19 - everybody needs one right?
4) CZ SP-01 - done up by Mink or Angus, for competition
5) 1911 - everyone needs one sort of thing. Who knows which one though...
Honorable mention, Sig P250. I really like it, and my fiancee wants one. So we'll just leave it on her list. :D

1. Colt Delta Elite 10mm
Love 1911's and just don't have a 10mm yet.
2. 45/70 Marlin SS (longer barrel)
I don't have a big bore rifle, nor a lever anymore seems to fit the niche
3. Perhaps a saiga 12??
Wanted to have an insanely devastating weapon for no apparent reason
4. Some sort of battle rifle in 308 or preferably 30-06. Any suggestions? Already have an SKS but wanted something with more power and detachable mags.
5. I have many wants but haven't narrowed it down to what is really feasible.

1 - Heckler and Koch USP45 - yes, I know, HK sucks and they hate us, but that's one nice, hand-fitting .45. It makes even the Glock 30 seem outsized and clunky.
2 - Springfield Micro Compact .45 ACP
3 - Freedom Arms in .44 Magnum
4 - Px4 Storm in 9mm
5 - a Goncz or Claridge Hi-Tech (they look so fun)
mnw42
February 19, 2008, 11:14 PM
1) Colt LW Commander XSE .38 Super - I think it would make a nice carry/range/camp gun and besides I know of nobody else that has one:cool: I'll get a 10mm later.
2) Python - 'nuff said
3) Garand or M1A I haven't decided which. Decent Garands are becoming hard to find.
4) All steel D frame Colt in .38 spcl - I need a another .38 as a companion to my Cobra.
5) Winchester model 12 or a nice o/u shotgun - I just need another shot gun for braking clays.

1) Kel-tec P3AT. Need something I can carry in business dress. Might look at the Ruger model instead, but probably the P3AT.
2) My Grandpa's single-six. My cousin has it and has suggested he might be willing to part with it. I have a cheap-and-crappy Heritage .22 I can sell for maybe $75 to get me started on paying for it.
3) STI Spartan 1911. Here's hoping that one of Corriea's group buys and my having cash coincides sometime in the next year or so.
4) Something in .40. I like the caliber, and my friend Mike is probably getting tired of lending me his S&W Model 410.
5) A larger centerfire revolver, undecided. Possibly just a Blackhawk .357mag, possibly in .44. Not sure yet.
Or I may ditch that whole plan and get some mil-surp stuff. :D

CZ 40P - Because Foutain has one for 425 and they have lay-a-way
S&W Airweight snub nose revolver- Because I don't have a pocket revolver
Ruger LCP- Becuase I dont have a pocket autoloader
DW Commander Bobtail- Because I just plain like them, its really the only 1911 that appeals to me.
RIA 1911- Because its alot cheaper than the DW.

1. Ruger LCP for pocket carry (maybe two, one for my wife)
2. AR-15
3. Glock 21SF

5. Remington 870 Junior model 20-gauge for my wife

1.) SIG 220 Elite ST - Fell in love with Sigs with my 226 9mm, Already own a Kimber 1911 .45. Rented a standard 220 at my range and Loved it, can only dream about SRTs and Beavertails at the moment, Gun is supposda be submitted for CA approval later this year and when it is all good it is mine.
2.) Ruger Blackhawk 50th Anniversary .44M - Might pick up this gun this week, great gun at under $400 delivered! Love revolvers, currently low on cash to pick up a S&W 29, First .44M, Ruger fits in nicely.
3.) New Vaquero - Probably in .357 but I might go with .45LC just because. Why? Because I need an excuse to pick up some gunleather, and I watched Tombstone 37 times and it keeps getting Funnier, Every Time I See it! :)
"Why Ike, whatever do you mean?" -Doc ;)
4.) Ruger SP101CT - Pocket sized SD revolver, skip the iron sights and go Crimson Trace, can't go wrong.
5.) Some companies SAA clone with a short barrel and a birds head grip to play crossdraw to #3, haven't looked too far into that one yet.
Unofficial #3 since this is Handguns this doesn't qualify but a Cowboy levergun in either .357 or .44 to compliment my other Wheelguns.

1. Four or 5 inch S&W Model 29 or 629. I need to get another .44 Magnum to replace the one I was forced to sell last year.
2. Glock 34. I've been wanting to break into Glocks, and this seems like the most similar to my beloved 1911s in size and barrel length. Should make those 127 gr +P+ rounds really go.
3. P&R S&W 18. Just because I want one.
4. S&W 22-4. I'm short a .45ACP revolver, and I think this would be an excellent addition to the stable.
5 S&W 57. Pretty much the same as above, but .41 Magnum instead.

In no particular order... EDIT: Changed the Desert Eagle to an EAA, cause Eagles are overpriced.
* Remington 870 7shot 12ga.
Have a Maverick 6shot, I just think this would be better.
* EAA Elite Limited 10mm
I want a 10mm, and this just seems to do it for me.
* Sig P250 or FN P-9 9mm
Would like to finally get my own hi-cap polymer 9mm handgun for plinking. I've been borrowing my dad's Glock 17C.
* Bushmaster ACR spr 6.8mm
Sold my M4, now I want a semi-auto assault sniper-type rifle
* Mossberg 100 ATR 30-06 or .308
Decent yet affordable bolt action rifle for target practice and possibly hunting.

Limiting this to just handguns:
--Sig P220: A classic .45ACP pistol (already have a 1911)
--Ruger GP100: Everyone needs a .357 revolver, and this is one of the most rugged ones out there
--S&W 642: Need a gun for pocket carry
--Glock 22: I want a 40S&W pistol, and I am already used to full-size Glocks
--S&W 18: Need a 22lr revolver

I am a man of singular taste in caliber, as my list reflects:
1. Fortis Pistol by vltor (10mm)
2. 2011 frame 5" in 10mm
3. 1911 Commander bobtail in 10mm
4. Para USA 16-40 Limited reamed to 10mm
5. EAA Elite Hunter 10mm
And, for rifles
1. M1 Garand conversion to .338 Win Mag (yes, there is a company that does it.
2. AR lower with 223, 308, 300WSM and (betcha can't guess) 10mm uppers.
Or course, I am sure the AR lowers will multiple, and soon I will have complete platforms in those calibers.

1) Sako TRG-42 in .300 win mag (much cheaper to shoot than my .50)
2) DPMS SASS (my buddy has one and it shoots SubMOA- it's better than my AP4)
3) A LRM M-169 upper for my registered SBR lower (Suppressed upper that works with standard ball ammo- no need for subsonic)
4) A CheyTac .408 (Just a dream - 5k$ is outta my range)
5) A magazine fed .50 - perhaps bushmasters new version.

2) FN 5 and 7 - to scare the liberals
3) AK SBR - hi cap and cheap ammo
4) AR SBR - hi cap and looks like fun
5) 500 Win Mag - to see my brothers attempt to shoot it without falling over
Rifles:
1) M82A1 - because I'm sick of all the planes around here
2) 7mm Mag - something else to hunt with
3) 20MM Shoulder Rifle - to scare the antis (they sell these in AZ)
4) Match Grade colt AR - everybody needs one

6" barrel GP-100...just 'cause everybody needs a sturdy medium frame DA .357, capable of handgun hunting if desired.
Long barrel Blackhawk/Vaquero in .45Colt...well, I like SA revolvers. The .45 has a lot of capability, with ammo from mild to WILD!...Again handgun hunting capable.
Semi-Compact autoloader...like the Bersa Thunder .380 or maybe the new Ruger LCP(??). Not really interested in a 3" 1911-A1 style..even though I do have a couple of 1911's.
SP-101 in the 3" barrel....decent as a CCW piece, but a bit heavy in that function.
S&W .22LR "Kit Gun"...not sure of the current model number, but I want to replace the one I had, but gave to oldest son for teaching his kids .

I am finding it hard to find a new gun that interests me. Does that make me a bad person?
Nope. My list would include:
A First Generation Colt SAA in .45 Colt
A Colt Python
A Colt Shooting Master in .45 Colt
A Colt Series 70 M1911
A Colt Anaconda in .45 (with 4" barrel, for preferance.)

February 20, 2008, 01:04 PM
1. Smith & Wesson 642 (For backup carry)
2. Ruger LCP (For backup carry to replace the P-3AT)
3. GLOCK 19 (For a general purpose/range gun)
4. Springfield XD Subcompact (For primary CCW)
5. Kimber KPD (just like the looks)

February 20, 2008, 01:23 PM
1. Ruger LCP or Kel-Tec P3AT leaning towards the ruger but will have to see once they come out.
2. SA EMP .40S&W, good friend just got one in 9mm I found out they have one in .40 so now I want one
3. A good .357 snubbie
4. Beretta Neos, because everybody needs a .22lr and this one also does double duty as a raygun (at least it looks like one)
5. Ruger Alaskan in .454c I have no need for it but its sure a nice gun.

hmm...just handgun, eh? so many rifles on the list too, but okay...
Browning Hi-power:
not a clone, but the real thing. don't yet own any semi-auto handguns, and i figure i'll start with a 9mm for a bit cheaper ammo. BHP is a classic.
Dan Wesson Classic Commander Bobtail:
same as the above, but i need a .45 too. i've been looking at lots of 1911s, and i think i've settled on this one. it's certainly not the one i originally thought i'd settle on, but i'm liking it more and more...
S&W Model 17 or 18:
been havin' a hankerin' for a really nice .22 revolver, and i don't think there's many nicer than an older S&W
Colt Detective Special:
another CCW piece, although my wife would probably claim it immediately.
Colt Anaconda:
need a .44 mag. prefer the 4" even though it'll be harder to find.

February 20, 2008, 01:39 PM
My next top 5 handguns:
1. snubnose .38 revolver in ss. I dont have a revolver yet, only semi's and i really like small, concealable guns.
2. glock 26. Like the 9mm, like glocks, again, nice small concealable pistol thats reliable.
3. springfield 1911 in ss. I like the 1911 design, i like the .45 round, and i think they are just beautiful, classic guns.
4. Kahr mk9. I love my pm9, and my steel E9. To combine them i think would be perfect.
5. glock 19. probably my last choice because i already have 2 9mm's, and if i got a glock 26, this would be just a slightly bigger version. But i think along with my g30, if i got a g26 and a g19, that would be pretty much it for glocks for me.

Since we're expanding this to rifles too:
1) SKS to replace the one I sold. Keep it stock with plenty of stripper clips. I've seen too many of the 30 round mags cause problems with it.
2) S&W 686 4" to replace the one I traded to get my AR. I miss it. The cost of .357 ammo was one of the driving factors in me trading it, but now that I reload it's a moot point.
3) Ruger Mk III .22: Everyone needs at least one .22. I've fired a couple and they're fun, without being the jam-o-matics the Walther P22 is.
4) Sig P239 9mm or P232 .380 for my wife. Probably leaning more towards the P239.
5) DSA FAL. One of the best battle rifles ever made, IMO. Pretty pricey, but I'd like one.
tinygnat219
February 20, 2008, 01:59 PM
1. Smith and Wesson 3913 in 9MM. I have heard nothing but good things about this pistol.
2 Glock 26. I need a subcompact Double Stack 9MM.
3. Smith and Wesson 547 9MM revolver. I like S&W Revolvers, the 9MM cartridge and I don't want to have to use Moonclips.
4. Double Stack 7.62 Tokarev Semiauto. It's on my "I gotta have" list.
5. When I think of something, this spot is open...
nero45acp
February 20, 2008, 02:23 PM
1) Limited Ed. Stainless Ruger Single-Six 4-3/4" (just because I love the Ruger SS and a 4-3/4" one would be neat)
2) NIB/LNIB pre '68 Walther PPK .32acp (I use to have one, but had to sell it because I desperately needed the money while going through a divorce. I miss that Walther a damn sight more than I do the ex....)
3) Ruger Blackhawk 50th Anniversary .357 Mag (just love those SA Ruger revolvers)
4) NIB/LNIB Beretta Roma Model 90 .32acp (no real use for it, just because they're relatively rare and have a nice art deco kind of look to them)
That's it as of now, there is no #5, but give me time and I'll get an itch for something....

1. Something in 10mm, but I don't like the feel of the Glock 21, the S&W 10mm pistols feel even worse than the Glock, I'm a little uneasy about the durability of the 10mm 1911s (not to mention the price). I might look at a 10mm EAA Witness.
2. A S&W 57, or maybe a .41 Ruger Redhawk if one urns up.
3. A decent 1911 in .45ACP. I've got my great-grandfather's Army issued Colt, but it's 91 years old now.
4. A nickel or stainless 1911 in 38 super.
5. A 4" Ruger GP-100

1. Glock 23 cause i love glocks and dont own one yet
2. Springfield armory G.I. .45 cuas ei think it would be fun to have a true looking 1911
3. ruger single six convertable cause i need a good sturdy .22 and would liek to hunt iwht a .22 mag
4. a bond arms berringer in .40 casue i watch too much jon wayne
5. a smith and wesson snub nose .38 cause i watch too much Kojak

Limiting it to cartridge guns only
1. S&W Model 14, 6in barrel, 3Ts...for Distinguished Revolver.
2. Walther GSP...I've got a project in mind for a suppressed target pistol.
3. S&W Model 17 to match the Model 14...cheap trainer.
4. HK P46 if it comes out...I want one of the "bolt of lightning" guns, and the HK is a far superior gun to the FN 5.7 pistols
5. One of the Steyr AUG clones.

1. Taurus Tracker .22LR 6.5" barrel
Want something to practice my DA trigger pulls for cheap that's about the same weight as my GP100
2. Ruger Redhawk .44 mag 5.5" barrel
after shooting a friends .44 I've been wanting one very badly....would be a nice companion to my GP100
3. EA Witness Elite Match .45
Want a .45 and shot someone at the ranges' Witness....was very accurate for me and they're pretty affordable.
4. Ruger Vaquero .357 or Blackhawk Convertable .357/9mm
After watching 3:10 to Yuma, I want a single action revolver but still not sure if I wanna go full cowboy style or have the adjustable sights and extra 9mm cylinder
5. Springfield Armory 1911
Not sure which particular model but I figure by this time
in my handgun collecting I should probably have a 1911

1. GSG-5 because I want a fun range .22, and I don't want to have to "build" a Ruger 10-22.

3. Colt Commander .45 because I don't have a commander-sized 1911.
4. Saiga 12 or Remington 1100 because I want a tactical shotgun.

Handguns only?
[1/2] Cz P-01
[1/2] Taurus PT1911 Stainless or similarly made / styled 1911 pistol
(funny ordering system, I know but ... the price on things like the PT1911 seem far more volatile; the P-01 so far seems to be available at steadier prices. So while I might rank the P-01 over the 1911 in my personal list, if they were of identical price and availability, I'd be more likely to buy a 1911 at a great price than a P-01 at merely a "good" price :))
3) The cheap Sig P6s currently available are at least potentially small enough for concealed carry, but I think #5 at this moment would be a truly small concealed carry gun. For a while I was intent on a P11, but am not getting tempted by things like the P3AT or the similarly small new Ruger. Arrgh! Caliber creep! But they are truly concealable.
4) Another S&W 625. Not very concealable :) I'd like a 625 with an 8" barrel, actually ... and since this list requires I be richer than I am at present anyhow, why not?
5) Despite #3 above, a Sig P6, at least if I can find one of the $260 ones :)
If the list weren't about handguns, "An AR-15 clone" would probably head the list.

1) S&W L-Frame with 3" barrel
2) S&W L-Frame with 3" barrel
Two of the same so I can really learn revolvers. I do have a 625, but 45 ACP is pushing $300-350/1000 rounds.
3) Glock 26 -- backup to my backup.
4) SIG P220 22LR conversion kit.
5) SIG P220 in 9mm -- 45 ACP is getting too expensive to shoot frequently.

4. Last priority - small BUG for deep concealment when my Kahr is too big.

A gentleman (RunsFromBear) over on GT bought one and posted some very fine photos of his, which sent my heretofore satiated lust factor into overdrive. Dangit. ;)

My list changes from time to time before and as I purchase.
Handgun Short List:
1 - G29 10mm (for hunting backup, and maybe a 6" barrel and longslide for later). Will do a .22lr conversion for this as well, for the ultimate in backpacking versatility.
2 - B&T TP9 9mm (for home and vehicle defense, and compatibility with my dad's SPP and his huge pile of 30 round mags). I can't decide on black or green; maybe I'll have to get 2 eventually!
3 - S&W model 627 357/38 (for shootin')

I want the .357 more, but I also want to get a Makarov before the price goes up. I have a 617 6 inch Bbl. 10 shooter it's 45 oz.

2. Sig 239 in 40.

February 26, 2008, 10:14 PM
1. A Ruger Single-Six, preferable stainless. I traded one in on a Mini-14 years ago and have been having bouts of self-loathing ever since. That Single-Six was the most fun I’ve ever had in a gun.
2. A plain-Jane old-school 1911 .45, complete with small sights, standard ejection port, arched mainspring housing and short trigger. Would really love a series 70 Colt, if only just for the rampant pony inscription, or a Sistema, ’cause I think they are cool, but I’ll probably get a Springfield GI .45. I have a nice “modern” 1911, and it’s my favorite gun, but I want to go retro.
3. CZ P01: The last gun I bought was a CZ 75B in 9mm, and it is now my favorite 9mm. In fact, it’s my favorite non-1911 and all my plastic pistols have been neglected since I bought it. But the 75B is little big and heavy for carry, hence the want for the P01.
4. Ruger SP101 .357 Magnum. I had a 3” many years ago and traded it for an alloy-frame .40 S&W 411. Bad move. I want it back. Now. But maybe in 2”. Fun and surprisingly accurate with .38 hand loads, and a scary flame-throwing monster with the hot magnums.
5. A 10mm. I like the theory of the Glock 20 and have always wanted one, but the large frame Glock was not designed for my hand. And I’ve grown to love the 1911. So probably a Kimber or a Delta.

Feinwerkbau AW93

Walther SP-22 M4
SIG P250
The Bush ACR, KT RFB, Ansch 2013/690 barreled action, and another CMP AR (probably RR) may cut in line.

I'll play! Not so much on hardline specifics like brand, but..
-concealed-hammer .357 snub, probably a S&W
Why: I don't own a revolver, I don't own any handgun stronger than 9mm. The snubbie is very practical for concealed carry. The .357 may well be overkill, but I won't object to having an 'overbuilt' .38! :D
-a 1911 in .45.
Why: I don't own one - in fact, I haven't even shot one, ever! :( NUFF SAID? ;)
-A .357/.38 SAA clone
Why: Again, I don't own one, though I have shot one in .22. A real piece of American firearm history. But I want the .357 caliber to match up with my snub.
-M1 Garand.
Why: Historic, and they're not getting any more plentiful.
Spot #5 isn't set in stone, but they have in common that I as a relative n00b have never owned any of them - and "I wannit!"
-S&W M&P TRR8 (or another 7 or 8 shooter revolver)
-AK-47
-S&W M&P snubbie (I'll see how I like the steel-framed .357 first I guess)
-Kel-Tec PF9
Uhhh...hmmmm. Guess that's about it, actually.

A little late to the party on this one, but here you go...
CZ-75B Stainless - I have one, and it's an outstanding firearm, want another.
Glock 22 - I need another type of 40 S&W to compliment my HK's and the Glock 22 is it (LOVE those inexpensive mags!)
Another CZ of some flavor? I have most of the ones I want, but maybe another duplicate? Another CZ-85 COMBAT, another SP-01, or try a CZ-75BD?
Ruger MKII - I have one of these and really like it, as an early post stated the MKIII's are chock full of "idiot features" to keep the lawyers at bay.
Perhaps a Dan Wesson 615 357 Mag. 6" - IO've got a 4" and fixed barrel 5" version, the 357 is really at it's best with 6" and longer barrels IMO.
HIGH CAPACITY semi-autos are at the top of the list because a year or two from now and you won't be able to buy normal magazines for them.

1. Colt 1860 type II Richards cartridge conversion. I've always wanted a "cowboy" type gun, but really don't like the appearance of SAAs. The 1860, however, is aesthetic perfection, if you ask me.
2. Seecamp LWS380. Very small, not too bad power, especially with Buffalo Bore's new .380.
3. An 8" AR-15 pistol or SBR in 7.62x39mm. I like getting as much "blam" as possible in the smallest package possible. Hm, maybe .50 Beowulf...
4. Mateba autorevolver with an 8" barrel, in .44 magnum.
5. Hm... Don't know.

1. Ruger LCP- I need a upgrade to my P32 for a pocket gun but I never liked the trade off in recoil with the P3AT. The Ruger it a bit heavier and I'll be able to carry good hollowpoints.
2. An accurate 22 rifle for plinking
3. A Cricket 22lr for my daughter.
4. A nice .380, maybe a Bersa for my wife.

1. a better safe
2 and 3 in no order: S&W 910 and Beretta 92fs
I'm really not sure what to do after this. I want an M1A, but they are just too expensive to shoot. Ditto a FAL. An STI Guardian in 9mm would be cool, but awfully expensive at a grand.

1. Seriously considering the new Ruger SR9 - it fits my hand like the proverbial glove and has the other features I am looking for in a defensive weapon.
2. CZ PCR or 75 compact - just because I like them.
3. Ruger LCP if they turn out to be well made reliable guns.
That is actually it for now.

MikeJ,
The SR9 looks promising, and with the prices being what they are, it's interesting to look at.
The LCP should also be good as Kel-Tec's been Beta-testing this design for the past 4-5 years.
Enjoy!

I'm going to update my list that I posted on the first page. For some reason I can't edit it now. I guess there is a time limit for editing your posts.
Anyway, here it is, in no particular order.
1. Ruger Mark II .22LR - same as previous list, still need a .22 pistol for cheap practice/plinking.
2. Ruger GP100 .357 - also on my first list, still need a good medium frame DA .357 revolver.
3. Ruger SP101 .357 - again, also on my earlier list, still miss my old one and want to replace it.
4. Glock 19 9mm - previously this spot was reserved for the Glock 21SF, but I recently picked one up, so I can scratch it off and add another Glock in it's place. I had a Glock 19 before, in fact I owned and carried it for many years. Then I had to sell it when I was strapped for cash about a year and a half ago. After picking up my new Glock 21SF, it made me realize how much I miss my old Glock 19, so I'd like to pick up another one.
5. Colt Gold Cup .45 ACP - still wishing for one.

2. Spreewerke-made WWII P-38 (cyq code).

3-hk p30, same as above-i will dela with the hate for the comfort and control
4-springfield trp-i know its a 1911 but my PD wont be here for a year! good cust svc and good value (for 1200 bucks)

March 15, 2008, 07:05 PM
1) H&K USP - Want to get a jarvis threaded barrel for it so it can work with my suppressor that's threaded for my G-21 SF right now.
2) Galil Golani - It's a Galil and it's a great price, and it doesn't have the issues ORF galils that are twice the price have.
3) 5.45 Krink - Just have the itch for a small package AK in 5.45 I could SBR.
4) Garand - Does it really need an explanation?
5) Romanian PSL Dragunov - Same role as garand but more combloc like the AK's I'm so in love with.
And aside from guns, a 22 suppressor is pretty high up on my list, too. My P-22 begs me for one almost daily.
Oh crap, just noticed this is about handguns. In that case, my list goes:
1) H&K USP 45 - as listed above
2) Ruger LCP - As listed above
3)PA-63 - too cheap not to get
4) Nagant revolver - want something to dry fire the piss out of
5) Five Seven - They're sweet! I doubt I'll get one, though.

VERY interesting question! In order of preference, mine are:
P7M8 -- Tremendous gun! Always go bang, more accurate than I am. Just boughts onewith three mags for $1100.
Bill Davis Custom PPC Gun on S&W Model 10 -- Accurate, beautiful, don't have PPC within 5 states anymore, but oh, what a shooter! Bought one in January that I found gently used for only $700!
Savage Police .308 heavy-barrel -- Because everyone need something that can "reach out and touch someone" at 1000 yards. Still looking.
Les Baer .45ACP -- to go with my Kimber Pro Carry CDP. Looking...
S&W Model 19 .357 Mag w/recessed case-head charge holes with a 3" barrel. Wife wants one now...Looking.
As somone trained vocationally as a military aviator, I learned early on that one is none, two is one, and three is two. Of anything.

1. G26 for an IWB carry gun because it's relatively little and lightweight with a good amount of controllable 9mm firepower. Plus I don't think I can trust Kahr with another 650 dollars. I've owned two Glocks and know they are reliable weapons.
2. G19 because I miss the one I sold. Also for the same reasons as the G26, but in a compact size instead of sub-compact.
3. Ruger LCP because it's the only gun I would consider for pocket carry at the moment..and I haven't even shot one yet. I'll wait until more start popping up before I buy one. They are too expensive right now because everyone wants one and there aren't enough going around.
4. A nice all-steel combat 1911, either commander or full-size. I want to save up for something nice. An EB Kobra would be amazing.
5. An XD .45 compact. I miss my XD .40 service and also my .45 service as well. Shouldn't have sold either of those guns! The .45 compact would meet them both half way...
If the list went on, it would include an AR15 with all the goods and a tactical shotgun.
Once I add all those guns to the puny arsenal I currently own (just a new H&K USPc40:)), my gun needs will finally be met. Too bad that's like 5 thousand dollars away from reality.
