I got an old turret press from a gunshow, but I can't seem to work it into my act.
I seem to be stuck in my way of doing things.
I use cheap Lee reloader presses for: decapping, priming, and crimping
I use more accurate RCBS presses for: resizing and seating

that is one sturdy looking gadget. i also have an old lyman turret job, since the sixties. grey with six holes. put three sets of rifle dies in it now and use it similar to a single press, one thing at a time. click it around for the next phase.

in the 60's, had two sets of pistol dies in it. .45acp and .38spec. again, used as a single press. saved me hundreds of hours of changing out dies.

if you find no use for it, i can give it a home and a usefull life. drop me a note. will pay a decent price plus shipping.

one of my sons has a setup similar to yours. says he has no need to change to a dillon or whatever. i keep thinking i need a dillon to fuel my .41's

Clark, how do you have the preses mounted?

What you have there is a Lyman All American Turret Press. I have had one for years. It used to do all my reloading but now it just backs up my Star and 2 Dillons. It is a fine old press and has reloaded many rounds of both rifle and pistol cartridges. Back in the early 1960s, after graduating from hand Lee Loaders, I bought a Lyman Tru-Line Jr. Press to do all my reloading. It did not hold up well and Lyman replaced it after the main casting split. The second did not hold up any better than the first and I returned that one to Lyman also. They suggested that I put up the difference in price and buy an All American. I did so and it is the one that I still have and use. Good luck with it. Quantrill

W.,
The presses get mounted to with "C" clamps to my reloading bench or a table at the range.

I used one of these for years and still use it for a few things.
