I don't own a Hi-Power, but that just seems to epitomize what a combat handgun should look like: lean, sleek, aesthetically clean, and functional as all get out.

My compliments, sir.

Hello, sir. That is a V E R Y fine Hi Power. Please let us know how you like it after some range sessions. (I'll be we already know the answer to that.)
Again, very nice.

Best.

The matte-grey finish is cool. What is it?

How does it group?

Don re-blued the slide after the sights were installed. The frame retained the factory baked-on glossy finish. I kinda like the black "two-tone" look. Planning on maybe getting it hard chromed in the future after I play with it a while and wear out the finish :)

How does it group?

I shot around 200rds through it this past weekend with no problems whatsoever. I was surprised at how tighter the gun seems with the new barrel. The trigger is sweet and it really breaks like a 1911. Most of the groups that I shot from 12yds were all touching each. One distinct 5 shot group ended up being one ragged hole that I could cover with a quarter. Don Williams really made a shooter out of this one, its giving one of my custom 1911s a run for its money. The problem is I am wanting another one! Like 1911s, Hi-Powers can be addicting too :D

Very nice, indeed.

I've thought of sending a Browning up there, and though I don't intend on having as much done as you did, it certainly seems that he did a nice job.

Thanks for the post!

Very Nice. I am getting mine back from Don on Mid September. How long did it take to get yours back? How is reblueing compared to original blue? Do you guys think Hard Chroming hammer (not sear) will effect the trigger pull after having it tuned?

Are the ambi safetys the same size or did you just put a MK 111 lever on the right?

I don't know what the backlog is for Don at the moment, but mine only took a couple of months. He usually has a quick turnaround time. The blueing is great. The hard chrome should not affect the trigger pull, its a durable finish but not very thick at all.

Yes, factory levery on the right and extended on the left side.

I like everything but the square backed front sight, that looks like a cloth-grabber. Why wasn't it ramped?

Mighty pretty! The Hi-Power is the only gun that's ever inclined me toward the nine-millimeter.

Beautiful handiwork. It reminds me that I need to stop neglecting my Hi Power and give the SiG a little time off from CCW.

Something about Spegel grips brings out the contrast and aesthetics of the pistol :)

Planning on buying a pair of Kingwood once its available here www.pickagrip.com

Vrry vrry nice BHP.

Glad to read you're so happy, I just sent Mr. Williams a Delta to be thoroughly worked over as well as a Caspian Damascus project that has been gathering dust for years. He quoted me about 9 months but probably (hopefully) has some hedge in there.
