Hope some of you guys are familiar with this shop.
I placed an order online for a barrel for my Mossberg, which they accepted but I didnt realise all the paperwork for exporting it to here in the U.K.
I wanted to cancel the order, but cant see how to do it with thier online forms, has anyone ehre got any experience?
By the way, this isnt a criticism of that shop , they seem fine, its just its not practical for me to complete the order.

throdgrain, click on this link to e-mail Brownell's Customer Service with, perhaps, a duplicate of that e-mail to its International Department: https://www.brownells.com/aspx/ssl/MyAccount/ContactSupport.aspx
My own experiences with Brownells over many years leads me to believe that they will help you. But do it now. They work fast, which usually is a virtue but in this situation might be a problem.

OK Ive sent them an email lets see what happens, many thanks. The order is "on hold" due to the "state dept" whatever that is, so I expect there will be some time, hopefully :)

What paperwork ?
A part for a shotgun is not a "shotgun".
At worst case they would have to ship to a firearms dealer over here.
I have ordered other gun parts from the USA without a problem, 870 stock and fore-end, choke tubes etc.

Small parts aren't usually a problem and it depends who is sending it. Many U.S. outlets don't understand they can't just pop anything in the mail and send it out of the country.
Barrels however need an export permit and to get one of those an import permit from the county of final destination is required.

This is the problem, exactly, I wasn't aware of it :(
