Hey all.
I am looking to pull one of my dad's old guns out and start using it. Taurus semi-auto, .40 I think, cant think of the exact model off the top of my head, gun is maybe 4-5 years old, hasn't been used though in about 2 years, been just sittin in its box in teh closet since then.
I am pretty sure the pistol was just thrown in the box and into the closet, is there anything I need to do as far as cleaning, oiling, etc. before I fire the weapon?
What should I be doing as far as regular maint. on both mine and this .40?
