My wife and I are shopping for a house gun and I want her to pick. She's a little gal with small hands. We tried Ruger and Smith revolvers-trigger pull too heavy. So the autos got a good lookin' over and she has settled on these three.
She won't be doing alot of shooting, just enough to become familiar and comfortable with the piece. She won't like heavy recoil, so which one would you recommend and why?
Ladies, especially, I'd like to hear from you.

Best thing is to let her shoot them and make her decision. Sometimes what feels good in the store does not feel good when actually shooting.

Does your wiehae a preference? Which one works best for her? I don't think she can go wrong w/ any of her choices, they're all quality guns ;)

Between the Glock and the Kahr, the K9 will probably fit her hand the best, but the Glock 19’s slide will be easier for her to rack. I’m not familiar with the P-94.

For a house gun? Especially if she isn't going to get a ton of practice? A shotgun. Something like a Remington 870 would be good - especially since the racking of the action will stop most perps without having to fire a shot.
