After-cleaning problem

I have 3 pistols that malfunction only after I clean them. They ran fine on the first range trip after I got them, but after I cleaned them, they get the hiccups at the range:(. What could i be doing wrong? I field strip them, clean the outside & inside of the barrel, the chamber & action, then lubricate them lightly. I have no idea why they wouldbe doing this.

Also just as important:
What kind of "lube lightly" are you using?
Some oil is much slicker then others.

what brand and model of handguns?
what brand of cleaning solvent and oils?
describe your cleaing process, dissassembly and re assembly process, need details...
how many rounds untill they start running good after cleaing?
what kinds of malfunctions, failure to feed, to extract, ect. ?
sounds like a chamber or maybee a extractor problem, but i cant draw resonable conclusions without additional info.
also the recoil spring in glocks can give you problems if not put in correctly...
packing grease from the factory left in the extractor groove, of left in other places?
hope we can get this problem fixed.

The Pistols are:
-Springfield XD 4" 9mm
-Sig P6/225
-Ruger P89
Malfunctions:
-XD: Mostly failure to eject, beginning rather quickly into the firing session, like within the first mag or two
-P6: Failure to eject, stovepiping, one or two double-feeds, mostly failure to slide lock on empty magazine. These things start happening after about 50-60 rounds
-P89: Occaisional failure to eject, but not enough to remember exactly how many rounds in it was.
None of these guns are rapid-fired as the range won't allow it.
Cleaning Procedure:
1) Ensure unloaded
2) field strip
3) Spray Gunslick Foaming Bore Cleaner into each barrel. Leave sit for 20-30 minutes (Note: All handguns are stripped at the same time, but very careful attention is paid so that parts are not intermixed)
4) If the barrel isn't cleaned using foaming cleaner I use Outers Nitro Bore Cleaner.
5) barrel is scrubbed with gun cleaning brush if using Outers
6) Patch is ran through barrel until patch is clean
7) Outside of barrel is cleaned
8) Chamber is cleaned
9) Slide & internals of frame are cleaned (what is accessable, nothing is further disassembled from field strip)
10) slide rails are lubed with Outers Gunslick brand gun oil, inside of trigger assembly lubed, excess is wiped off
11) Gun is reassembled
12) Action is lubed on outside, excess is wiped off
13) Outside of action & frame are wiped down

loose extractor?

How do I check for that? I don't have any experience taking any of these guns down beyond field stripping. Would I be better off just taking them to a gunsmith?

Since they ran fine when you first used them, let's go with something you did caused the problems since then. Did you change ammo? Change your grip? Change anything else?
Personally, I would just try lubricating them more heavily. I prefer grease on the slide rails, but YMMV.

find some spent shells from those pistols and rechamber them, then pull back on the slide while watching the ejector and extractor carefully, and see which isn't doing its job. I don't know much about those pistols, but
you can probably figure it out if you look at it hard.

About all it can be is the ammo.
Three different service grade guns, all the same caliber, all noted for being exceptionally reliable.
And then all of a sudden, all three stop working at the same time because you cleaned & oiled them?
I don't think so!
Any of the three would most likely run 100% for a very long time with no oil, and no cleaning.
About all it can be is the ammo!

question:What are you using to lube, and are you putting whatever it is in the chamber?

Outers Gunslick brand gun oil to lube. No, I'm not putting it in the chamber.
The SIG has had Wolf (I know, I know, but I didn't buy it) Winchester WWB, and Remington UMC. Both Ruger and XD have had Winchester WWB, and Remington UMC. All of these in 115 gr. FMJ

Did you change your shooting hold? Holding loose maybe?
Try firming up your grip.
