I thought it had a slide lock lever.... looks like it doesn't lock back on an empty mag.

???

I read somewhere that the slide lock is manually operated only.

Yea ?

Still a cool video though. I would like to see it run with JHP's.

Yup, the slide lock is manually operated only, which kind of sucks. I guess it's useful for clearing a double feed type jam or locking the slide back for a quick bore snake run through or something. Since there's so much KT fanboy hate over this pistol being a very close copy of the P3AT (couldn't care less myself), it would have been neat to see Ruger incorporate a mag operated external slide lock which would set it apart even more from the P3AT and be more useful than the internal slide lock of the KT P32. Plus, it would aggravate KT and the ensuing fanboy followers even more.

I think I'm in love. I can't wait to get mine!!!

Did seem to have less recoil than the P3ATs. They have a pretty healthy kick. NOt nearly as bad as my S&W 337 though.

Great video -- have never seen that site before, thanks for pointing it out. Also, now I want to know how .380 is for reloading ;) Durn.

It looked a lot easier to manipulate the slide on the Ruger than on my 1st gen. P3AT. I find it difficult to rack the slide with the KT.

Reloading 380 is easy. The cases and bullets are smaller but that is the only big difference. I reload mine on both a progressive and a single stage hand press.

Reloading 380 is about the same as loading 9mm, no problem.

I don't pay any attention to that sight, everything I have seen is more like an infomercial than actual reporting. I also noticed all the mags were loaded with fmj's.

Also whats the point of the bolt hold open if you have to manually set it. I guess they copied that off the 10/22.
