We had a thread dealing with Atlanta ranges and it appeared a lot of folks used Creekside range. The weather this Saturday is going to be good, should we try arrange a shooting day for us THRs in Atlanta...

I'll be going to Creekside this Saturday with the G-friend, should be there about 9:00. I'm a member - guests w/me $15, w/o $20 to shoot all day. I'll be in one of the "pits" past the rifle range. I need to wring out my Kimber Ultra Raptor .45. Bring appropriate footwear, if we get rain Friday it'll be muddy, maybe an extra pair of shoes to wear home. I'll have several silenced .22's and the MAC-11/9. Listen for the sound of machine gun fire and bring some ammo (9mm WWB is fine) if you'd like to try it.

Well it looks like there could be 2 of us anyway. I need to finish my break-in of my Kahr P45 myself. And I have a bunch of bulk .22s and I really need to shoot my Dan Wesson's some more. May just bring my whole batch of handguns, who knows when you'll run into a great trade... Dave

I'll be at Creekside on Saturday, but I won't get there until 2:30pm or so. That is the earliest I can be there. I may bring some Class 3 stuff, not sure yet. I enjoy just plinking with the 22s alot of times....

I was thinking of going to a WMA to shoot my blackpowdered rifle. I have never been to Creakside. Do they allow BP firearms and are there benches?

They have 50 & 100 yard rifle ranges (no 300 yd. on weekends) with covered benches. Shooting BP is fine.

Ouch! 78 miles one way from my door to the range. I don't think I will be making to the range anytime soon.

I'll probably head up there around 11 AM as I have to fix my sons bank account problem in the morning (he's in Iraq). I'm bringing most of my pistols and a bunch of ammo with me and I'll try to bump into other THR's. If you see a big old guy, (6-4, 240) with gray hair - it's me...
