Sorry Moderators, I don't mean to repost like a noob, but the guys asked me to add more name brands to the list and I couldn't figure out how to edit the poll sooooo.... I am making another in it's place with pretty much all the names except an "ALL OF THE ABOVE" choice. I left that choice out because I am doing a project and need to have accurate percentages of all the different brands that are listed.

Thanks and if you need to delete my other poll I understand but at least give the guys a chance, that want to, repost what they wrote first.

Since this is in the autoloader section, I assume you mean the brands of autoloaders that I have, which would be five of the ones on the list. The brand I have the most of is Smith & Wesson, with three (M&P9C, 3913LS and a 6946).

Interesting that Colt, which is practically defunct nowadays, beat out Berretta, CZ, H&K, Kahr, and Kel-Tec, among others. That it beat H&K really surprises me.

I have Glock 19, a Taurus 85, Colt Official Police, and I used to have a S&W model 19.

Could be just individual examples I guess but my other 2 revolvers couldn't touch the Colt. The smooth trigger pull and rock solid cylinder on the Colt are definitely better than the M19 was and I don't even wanna mention the Taurus. Funny thing is the Taurus was my first revolver and I actually thought it was nice until I found out what a real revolver was like.

Quality makes it a Colt. :cool:

Colts mail focus has been on Military and Law enforcement contracts rather that public sales for some time, that may be why people might come to the conclusion that their market is dwindling.

Sometimes it makes good business sense to do one thing and do it well rather than over extend into new markets and bring a whole company down with a failing new venture.

One thing for sure is there will always be a market in law enforcement and Military sales, war and crime are 2 markets that will never end.:p
