Gosh - I can't find one ANYWHERE! :banghead:
In the last few days...I came across a big name holster maker that did a "Hammerless" specific strap retention revolver holster....but it was a closed end 2" model (for S&W I think).....and I cannot remember who made it anyways.
Who can offer suggestions????
Thanks!

I immediately thought of the Bianchi 55L (http://www.bianchi-intl.com/product/Prod.php?TxtModelID=55L) ... but it is not shown for the 3-1/16-inch Ruger. :(
Don Hume (http://www.donhume.com/Products/ProductsList.cfm?action=SearchByWeapon&WeaponID=114) shows some models with thumb breaks for that gun, but I cannot determine from the pictures where the strap would go. I suspect they are meant to pass over a hammer spur.
This looks like it might be a custom job.

I wonder if this can be modified.....Even WITH the bobbed hammer (lookin' at the angle of the strap).

Well, I normally do IWB and I can't make the pre-formed shapes like the commercial stuff, but if you're unable to find what you're looking for, I do have a 3-1/16" SP101 I can use as a template. Just a thought.
Some of my work:

I started making my own, because I feel that most of what's available rides too high. I like to keep it low:

You thin guys and your IWB carry... turns into a whoooole different ballgame when you are rounder in the middle. :D
Gary, FWIW you can fit an SP101 into a leather holster made for the Colt Detective Special. That is what I found for OWB carry and I am sure you can find one you like. FWIW mine has a thumbreak which I prefer.
I can also heartily recommend A.E. Nelson leather. http://nelsonleather.com/
They were so helpful in making just the right variation of a holster I wanted that I got about 1/2 dozen more.
