I have a left eye dominate right handed friend who would like to shoot CMP this summer. They'd like to get some practice before commiting to left-handed equipment. Thay have a Savage modle 62 with a Nylon stock that we'de like to add add sling mounts. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Scott

How thick is the forestock? Is there room for a regular swivel screw?

Sunray has it right...Just treat the nylon stock as you would a wood stock.
You can go to brownell's Brownell's sling swivels (http://www.brownells.com/aspx/ns/store/ProductDetail.aspx?p=23981&title=LOK-DOWN?%20SLING%20SWIVEL%20SETS) and buy them (or any gunshop really). The detachable swivels usually require a 5/8" deep hole for the front, and a 3/4" deep hole for the rear, drilled into the stock. If there is sufficient stock depth to drill the holes then adding sling mounts is not a problem. You drill the holes and screw in the bases. Then attach the sling swivels.
ETA: If you can drill them a little deeper, then you can countersink the head a little by counterboring with a bigger drill bit.
