Can anyone help me with the correct original finish for an Astra 900, serial #16XXX? I'm trying to determine what parts were nitre blued, and if the original finish was a high polish or more like a 400 grit. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

I had just looked into my Astra book on the subject and while I can't remember the serial number range...it stated there were a few that were special finished meaning elaborately engraved mostly in arabic motifs but I found no mention of guns being nickled which was my query.
As far as blued guns go the first were a grey black whilst later ones were darker black in finish.
