does anyone know how this is progressing, i lost track of it and havent been able to pick it back up. last i heard was taft shot it down, which makes no sense to me since hes suposed to be a republican. anyway, if we do end up getting concealed carry rights in ohio, what does that mean? what will the age be for carry? i'm just curious on it. any info would be great, thanks

Taft isn't a republican. He may have been elected under that title but he isn't.

I don't believe concealed carry in Ohio can become reality before Governor Daft leaves office. Hopefully his replacement will be a better grade of Republican, or a pro-2nd rural Democrat.

Most Ohio Republicans are centralist. They play both sides of the fence so they can get reelected. Just look at DeWine, Voinovich, and Taft.

Chances are in four years, we'll elected another spineless Republican as governor and concealed carry won't see the light of day.

Right now, though, I am so bitterly disappointed in the Ohio Spineless Senate and Gov. Booby 'flip-flop' Daft that I cannot begin to use the language (in this forum) that would truly say how I feel. And 8 Bang Head icons isn't even close.
