Rollcage,

According to the 27th Edition of the Blue Book of Gun Values, a Winchester 1897 is worth:

100% - $850; 98% - 725; 95% - 575; 90% - 500; 80% - 450; 70% - 350; 60% - 250;
50% - 225; 40% - 195; 30% - 175; 20% - 150; 10% - 125

This will, of course, be affected by the laws of supply and demand.

Hope this helps.

Sincerely,

Prof. A. Wickwire

From what little I know about them (very little) the grade and type of shotgun can have a big effect on price. ie. trench gun, trap gun, there is one called a pigeon with a pigeon engraved on it, etc. etc.

thanks! i think its a "brush" model for hunting quail or grouse and what not. i'm gonna do some more reasearch once i get to see it in person and take pics.
