1187 issues

A while back I posted about my 1187 giving me some attitude when I took her to the range for the first time (though it is a used gun), and I got some good replies. I am fixin' to take her apart and put the suggestions to action, but I thought it might be a good idea to get the AGI video on the gun first, and they only have one for the 1100.
Will the differences in the two guns nullify the benefit from getting the video on the 1100?
Thanks

The guns are very similar but the gas systems are a bit different. I didn't see your earlier post on the problems with the 11-87, but off hand it might be the rings in the gas system might be out of sequence, since you got it used.

The 1187 is an incredibly EASY gun to work on. Go to the remington website and download the owners manual if you don't have one.
Yes, an 1100 tape will work, but you really don't need one.
