Are the stocks on the LTR interchangeable between different calibers, say a .308 & the 300 Rem Mag?

The Remington 700 stocks come in Long Action and Short Action. The .308 is a Short Action rifle and the .300 is a Long Action rifle. You could swap the stock between two short actions, ie .243 and .308, or two long actions, but not between the two. The actions are different length and so are the stocks.

Thanks TechBrute. All LTRs I know of are short action. Is the OD of the bbls the same btwn calibers?

Or is the LTR chambered for the newer .300 SAUM (Short Action Ultra Mag)?

The LTR's are all short action chambered in .223, .308, and .300 Rem. SA Ultra Mag.
HS Precision makes the stock in two versions.....short action and long action. It isn't caliber specific. I know for a fact that the 700P model stock will fit an even larger barrel than the factory one....I bet the LTR will as well.

Yes, my mistake. It's the SAUM (I can't get use to that two dollar name). I'm buying a slightly used barrel (15 rounds) for a short action left hand 700 I have. If the outer diameter of the 700 LTR in 300 SAUM is the same as 7.62 mm Nato, I may pick up a LTR stock.
BTW, what's a good price for those stocks?

The Sniper Country PX lists them for $263 it looks like. May want to post a WTB ad on the message forum over there though...someone may have one cheaper.

I called HS Precision today and they confirmed that they only make one size stock for the LTR. Therefore, regardless of caliber, they're all the same. Thanks everyone. I'm going to pick up a used stock to go with my used barrel.
