Where are you located in Germany. I was up in Sinnalogger, (not sure of the spelling), w/ the Brits back in 71, 72, and 73 w/ the Third Armor Division

I was stationed in Frankfurt.

And what is a pronghorn?????

A pronghorn is more commonly known in the USA as an antelope. I saw plenty when Uncle Sam had me in Wyoming in the mid 80s. I even shot two of them however I like the taste of venison better.

Here is the link for hunting and fishing licenses from the Wyoming Game and Fish Department.

The name is Sennelager, I'm based there now, just joined the Jagdgruppe and about to start hunting when the roe buck season kicks in.
Paderborn is a lovely place to live, and with all that land to use too!!
Got an invite down to shoot pig at hohenfells (spelling) a couple of weeks ago but it was mid week so couldnt make it

I was with the 3rd AD back in 1971-1973. We did a FTX ever year at Sennelager. Usually a joint NATO exercise working with American, British, French, German, Irish, troops.

Do the Brit's still stop the War Games for afternoon tea? I thought that was a wonderful tradition.

I can remember navigating those narrow cobblestone streets w/ a M60 tank on a 25 ton Low-Boy. Man I miss those good old days. I enjoyed my time there, learned a lot, wouldn't take anything for the experience.

Good luck to you there UKarmourer, I wish you the best. Could I possibly get you to sent me a shot glass from Sennelager. I will reward you for you effort. I will send you a e-mail w/ my address.
