All this talk about airsoft has me interested in picking one up. My question is this:
Which site has the best deals and selection of IN STOCK airsoft stuff? I've heard that in stock is very important since there can be problems with importers and customs. Your input is appreciated.

If he dosnt have what you want he can probably order it for you. He will take customs responsibility.

Don't forget about EBay. A good many retail shops (as well as individuals) sell Airsoft gear there.

You might also want to search an airsoft forum such as this one >> http://www.airsoftretreat.com/forums/default.asp (there are others as well) for dealers too...;)

Some people i know disagree, but i've had nothing but positive experiences with www.jungletoy.com and if you're in the CA area, you can stop by their retail stores.

Airsofts are by far the most cost effective method to remove "the flinch".
I highly recommend one to everybody. Fun for the whole family!
CAUTION: watch the eyes! They do bounce around. Also, if you have small kids, I wouldn't recommend them, as you will find out soon enough, that you will get airsoft pellets in everything. I usually shoot about 200 a session and am only able to find 100 of them.. :uhoh:

I had no problems getting my M733 in from Wargamers Club in Hong Kong. http://www.wargameclub.com/WGC_Shop/ Fast and easy, good prices (don't forget to figure in $40ish for their shipping, which being express actually took less than one week to get here, couldn't believe it...)
Pic of it, it's damn sweet: http://www.dcpnet.org/media/M733Commando.jpg

BTW, do the folding or collapsing stocks on airsofts really work?

BTW, do the folding or collapsing stocks on airsofts really work?
Generaly on the higher end Tokyo Mauri, and other quality brands, the attention to detail approaches 100%. This includes removable mags, fake, but movable, cocking handles, collapsables stocks etc. Some even have metal in thier construction in the appropriate places. US customs dosen't like these "toys" very much, and even have been using copyright and trademark infringment as a pretext to sieze shipments when items say "Colt" or "Glock".
It's not until you field strip the airsoft to get at it's batteries, or remove a mag, and seeing a 6mm bb port etc. do you see any functional differences.
My Mauri FNp90 Airsoft even has fake hollow metal 5.7x28 SS190 cartridge bodies that you can see through the clear polymer magazine, and the bb's are hidden inside that. There are only two external discrepancies in my P90:
1. Under the magazine well, where the FN's turntable loading mechanisim would be is just a 6mm bb port, and it's mate on the magazine. (all hidden when loaded)
2. Under and inside the rear pistol grip where the bolt and ejection port of a real p90 would be is a sculpted piece of plastic that dosen't move.
Otherwise it is externally identical in all other respects.

My Tokyo Marui MP5A5 is pretty fun to mess around with. Gotta wear safety glasses. When it's on automatic, the pellets go everywhere really fast.
