Greetings,

Are Remington 870 barrels interchangeable from right-handed to left-handed shotguns? I am thinking about getting a LH 870 Express, but I want a "tactical" barrel for it. Can I just buy an 18" one for a RH model?

LH barrels only work on LH receivers, RH barrels only work on RH receivers. Being a LH shooter, I bought a RH 870 and installed a LH safety...

Correct. LH barrels for LH 807's, and vica versa.

My LH 870 came w/ the 28" barrel and I wanted an 18-20" barrel, rifled, w/ sights. I looked everywhere and finally went with Remington (20", I think), as every one that I found elsewhere was 21-24".

It cost a bit, but it's nioce!
