YHM sight wobble

I've never used front/rear fold-down sight before, but have some on my new AR. Both YHM front and rear sights have some play. The bases are solid and there is zero side-to-side movement, they just wobble forward and back a bit when pushed.

Is this normal, unusual, or am I just being my usual anal retentive self?

No experience with the YMH sights. I have the GG&G flip up sights on my Beowulf; they have no wobble at all.

I was at a local gun store and one of the display models had a Troy BUIS. Even it had a little wobble, though not as much as my YHMs.

GG&G is top of the line but then you pay for it too. I am very happy with their sights.
The rear I got for $110 and the front was $130

YHMs aren't all that inexpensive either and Troys are $140 sights online. I want to see some GG&Gs then

Check Ebay that's where I bought mine.

Normal. Mine can be pushed back a small amount, but return to their original position.

Has been a few months and I forgot to update on this...

The YHM front flip sight was canted a bit to the left.
I loosened the sight, re-adjusted and tightened the sight really well and applied lock-tight. Tightening got rid of the wobble too! :)

I replaced the rear with an LMT fixed BUIS - thing's solid as a rock.
