Any body else going to the gun show here in Montgomery, Al. this weekend? I'll be there with a couple of buddies today and another buddy who happens to be my Boss tomorrow. I'll be wearing my Alabama shirt today. AC (Roll Tide) :)

I guess I missed you Bushmaster. Were you on the curb waiting? :D
Picked up an older CZ-75. Has some blue wear and patina where the blue is 1/3 gone on the top of the slide and a little on the side, but mechanically very sound with a good bore and a nice smooth trigger. Real wood grips and some love marks, but no dings or abuse. $350 walking away. I have no idea if this was a good deal, but I thought for a quality 9MM it was a fair price. Came down from $450. Well, it had that sizable spot of missing blue you know. :)
A couple of other items I would have liked to have had, but passed on a nice Springfield 1911, and when I came back to try to work a deal on the .45 ACP Derringer, it was gone. I will remember that one. Nice. Been wanting one just like it for awhile. I should have scooped it up right off.

I didn't see you Bushmaster, honest.
The show was as crowded as I have ever seen it. I think nobody wanted to do anything outside in the cold. I am anxious to shoot my CZ. It is nothing fancy, but should be a good shooter. It has a thin inset line on the front sight and an inset T on the back sight that I am going to fill with red or white so my old eyes can see them better. That is one thing I liked about it, besides being an older CZ, which I have wanted to try out. I also picked up some nice factory Ruger target grips for my Security Six for $20.

and your right, it was more crowded than I have ever seen it. I picked up a mossberg 500 synthetic stock, new or real close to it, for $15 (for my brother) and most importantly a Remington 1100 with a 26", vent rib, IC choke in about 90%+ condition (for myself:)). If I could have found a NEF Handi-Rifle in the calibers I'm looking for I would have bought them too! Maybe next time....
