HI Guys,
I know that a few of you carry the Steyr pistols here. I am just wondering what holsters are you using? Are you carrying IWB or OWB? Leather or Kydex. I know that holsters are pretty limited at this point. I am first tring to decide whether to carry IWB or OWB. I have a Glock G27 that I carry IWB in a Comp-Tac Gurkha or a Galco NSA II holster. The Steyr is a bit thicker though and I am not sure about IWB for this one. I tried my S40 in a Galco Concealable last night that was sized for a Glock 30. It was a pretty good fit. I am considering this one. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Any holster you are looking for the guys at Highnoone can make it for you. I carry my M40 in a Hidden Ally at 4 O'clock and have never had a problem as long as my pants are big enough. I did take mine to a leather smith and had him modify the holster to it sat with a 15-degree cant. This made the grip ride close to my side and stopped the problem of it hanging on my shirt. I have a nice Wild Bill's OWB that I use for carrying my M40. He sells at the local gun shows here in NC, but you can also order his stuff over the web. Do a search for Wild Bill's holsters and he should pop up.
