Anyone try Aussie .308 yet?

How's it compare to other surplus, like the Port, S. African, Hirt, etc.?
I bought a can of it, and it looks clean enough. Nice bandoleers, too. Wonder how this stuff shoots.
One good thing: lead, not steel. Kosher at my local range. :)

I just tried a few clips out of mine. I found it at least equal to Port. in my FAL. I really like the way it's packed though. 5 round clips, in bandos, in 30 cal ammo cans, in a wooden crate.

Mine was on sale at Turner's Outdoorsman in Pasadena, CA.
I think Fred (of the M14 stocks) tried some of it and gave it a favorable review.
I'll shoot some this weekend and post.

www.falfiles.com on the ammo thread has a lot of info on it. Everyone over there who has tried it was impressed.
