zinj March 9, 2008, 11:08 PM Winchester 61 (Hammerless) and 62 (External Hammer), plus the earlier 1890 and 1906 (both with External Hammers). Remington 12 too.
Be prepared to pay a mint for any pump .22 though. I looked for several years before finally picking up a Marlin 39a lever for far less than a comparable pump. You can sometimes find Remington 572s for fairly cheap (they also still make them, but they are expensive new); but they don't take down. Henry makes a pump .22 without takedown.
All of these guns will accept shorts, longs, and long rifles.
ArmedBear March 9, 2008, 11:12 PM You talking about current production, or "ever made"?
rangerruck March 9, 2008, 11:26 PM I'm pretty sure, that Taurus makes a fantastic copy of the old winnies, that will shoot all and is a pump, it gets great raves. however, I'm not sure about the takedown part... actually they do take down, but are lr only.
The old remmy fieldmaster, model 552 or 572 , will do them all as well, but I don't know if they made it in takedown.
I have a remmy 241 , that shoots all , and is takedown, so I would imagine, that they have 1 or 2 old models, that would do it all, and will be pump as well.
But just remember, the old winny or remmies are going to cost you a pretty penny.
Seafarer12 March 10, 2008, 10:05 AM I have a Remington 572. Its not a take down but you can take it apart but I wouldn't make a habit out of it. I wouldn't want to strip any screws. It is my favorite 22 and on the short list of my favorite guns. If you can live without a true takedown feature I would say get a Remington 572.
Ratshooter March 10, 2008, 11:12 AM Marlin 39s will feed S,L,LR rounds and take down. I have a Rossi pump that has a new lifter that feeds all 3 types of ammo and is s take down.
Its total OA length is only 33".
