What kind of bullet sizers are these things?

What do I have here? These things came with some other reloading equipment, and I suspect that they are not complete.

They are threaded to fit a standard press, but the one on the left appears to be a lube-sizer die, while the others I think are just sizers. Any ideas?

Second item from the left looks like a cast bullet sizing die.

I'll bet that when it is all said and done, those are bullet making dies, either for swaged lead or jacketed.

They look like Herter's swaging dies. What calibers are they?

Hope this helps.

I think they're all three .357. One is marked 357A, the other is marked 357-C, and the third is not marked, but measures about .357.

Not sure about the two on the right, but the extreme left appears identical to the sizing/lubing inserts in an old Herters L/S device I bought from them in the mid-'60s. The main lubericator body fits into a standard press, the inserts screw into that device, the bullet holder fits into a stock shell holder....as the ram is raised it forces the bullet into the sizing chamber where it's lubed under pressure. The top handled "punch" is the ejector mechanism for that now lubed bullet. Kinda slow but effective.

I'd suggest you try to locate some data on Herters gear or perhaps pick up an old catalog.........makes for a facinating read if nothing else.

The more I look at your stuff the more convinced I am that those are all Herters lubing or sizing assemblys.....you are missing the bullet holding base I described. It's a cupped device designed to hold the bullet nose first, is rimmed on the bottom to fit the shell holder. I could be wrong on the two right pieces but I am positive about the left.

You guys are great! Herter's it is. I just found this instruction paper in a box I was going to throw away, but I'm not sure which die it goes to.
