I'd buy a Kerigoff K-80 for trap.
I'd buy a Purdy for Quail.
And then I'd buy an old Model 12 Trap, which I would shoot 80% of the time.

Couple Holland & Holland's. Double rifle in a classic caliber would be one. Maybe I'd second with the Winnie 21. Saw one at the local gun shop in Lafayette, IN when I was in college. IIRC it was 2k+ then, when a good year's income was 12k.

I wouldn't buy much different than the value I see in what I have now. However, Having the money would allow me to exercise the shotguns I have until they needed to be replaced a lot sooner! One I might buy to add to my collection is a nice Baretta O/U for trap. I see others using them. They appear to be durable nice looking guns.

A new butt, mine has a crack in it.
Seriously, I would buy several Benelli Super 90's with full length magazines so I will be set for life when the new gun bans hit.

i would want a shorty SxS...my pallet is not yet refined in the world of fine shotguns, and i don't know any better...
that being said, i would want a highly customized TTN SxS hammer double...
the weak point in a SxS is the stocks...they can and often break, so i would have someone fabricate an aluminum set of stock and forend...then after installing the stock and forend, i would cut the barrels down to about 13.5"....then i would send the whole thing out to get a mirror polished hard chrome finish inside and out...that would be my dream shotgun...

I'm going to assume that "no object" = $10,000 and "gun" = shotgun (as this is the shotgun section).
I'd buy two or three nice older 870 Wingmasters with 18-20" barrels, cut one down to 14" for a truck gun, slap sidesaddles on the other two and commence using my leftover $8500+ for shotgun classes and BA/UU/R.
By the time I get through $8,000 worth of training and ammo, that last $500 should do nicely for parts replacement and refinishing... if they need it. If not, it'll go towards aspirin for my aching shoulder and some whitening strips for the big, stupid grin I'll be wearing. :D

Mk18 with the "happy" switch.
With that lower, you can scratch a multitude of itches, as it'll serve as a DMR, M4, 9mm subgun, 6.8 rifle, etc.

+1 for the Benelli M2 Tactical. For those who mentioned the Super 90: Benelli no longer produces the Super 90 and the M2 Tactical is the model that Benelli replaced it with.

There's supposedly a small but unknown number of Singer Sewing machine 1911's that were made without serial numbers for presents to executives when the company was under contract to produce 500 early into WW2. I figure those should fetch a pretty penny.
Otherwise something in a nice Holland & Holland .700 Nitro double rifle would be nice at about 59,000 to 69,000 dollars.
