I need help identifying an older apprrox. 1962 Winchester automatic shotgun , my mom bought it for my dad back then. I haven't seen the shotgun in years however my father has put in for me to find him a new or good condition butt plate for this shotgun. All I can tell you for sure is that it will not fire but ( 3 ) rounds one in the chamber and two in the magazine , there is no plug ! Also the breech is released by a small button on the lower right side of the receiver. Any help with this matter will be greatly appreciated .

Could be either a Model 50 or Model 59. The model 59 would have a fiber wrapped barrel, the 50 would have a regular barrel.

Thanks auschip , I'm gonna say it is a model 50 due to the plain steal barrel on it. Again thanks for the help.
