Just got home with my new Uberti Dragoon and though you folks would like to see a pic of it still virginal and glistening in oil.

I’ll strip it down tonight ready for the range tomorrow – can’t wait to make some smoke!!!!:)

Looks like a nice one! I have a 3rd model, great gun, big boom!! 40 grains is about the max if you want room for a wad and ball too.

I started off with a measly 30 grains of BP:

Then built up to a healthy 42 grains:

The funny thing was that the sound waves from 42 grains of powder must have been amplified in the shooting booth as it blew the foam earplug out of my friends left ear! :eek:(you can see part of him on my right)

Had a great day – what a gun! … feel in love with it from the first pull of the trigger:)
